It seems like many famous chefs have their own line of cookware – with good reason! Their love of food translates into good cookware. I had the chance to review a couple pieces of Bobby Flay Cookware for this post. My husband and I actually had the opportunity to see Bobby Flay during a chef demo at the Spring Fabulous Food Show at I-X Center last year. It was so cool! Bobby Flay Sauce Pan with Straining Lid
This is now my most-used sauce pan! The Bobby Flay™ 3-qt. Stainless Steel Sauce Pan with Straining Lid is the perfect size for just about everything I cook. It is the most sturdy, solid sauce pan I’ve ever owned. I can tell that this sauce pan is going to hold up very well and last a very long time.
This Bobby Flay Sauce Pan is good for all cook tops. It works fantastic on my Kenyon induction cook top. It is electric safe, gas safe, induction safe, glass cook top safe and even oven safe up to 400 degrees!
My very favorite feature of the Bobby Flay Sauce Pan with Straining Lid is the staining lid. I’ve never owned a sauce pan with a straining lid and now I know what I’ve been missing out all these years! It is perfect for straining pasta, veggies, hard boiled eggs, and anything else you need to strain! It is so easy to use – no more fussing with a colander or strainer! Plus, the sauce pan has a built-in pour spot on two sides making it very easy to operate. I can do it one-handed – while taking a picture with my other hand! 😉
The strainer lid has two sizes of holes to accommodate straining whatever size food and speed you’d like. The larger is great for vegetables and large pasta while the smaller is better for spaghetti and smaller vegetables and foods.
The Bobby Flay Sauce Pan with Straining Lid convenient pour spouts and straining lid are perfect for pastas, veggies and more. Plus, it is quite attractive looking in stainless steel. I also like that the handle stays cool so I don’t have to fuss for a pot-holder. It is easy to handle, even when filled with water and food because of the riveted handles. I use wood utensils but you can also use metal and nylon. It is even dishwasher safe but hand-washing is recommended.
