What’s for dinner? For a happy family, the answer should be pizza! My family loves pizza of all kinds, we order out very rarely and prefer to make our own. This is especially true when we use Stonefire flatbreads and pizza crusts. We’ve been huge fans of Stonefire products for years and can never get enough. We recently had a pizza party and create many different types of pizzas using Stonefire flatbreads and pizza crusts that I received to facilitate this review.
Our Stonefire Pizza Party
We made our pizza party a do-it-yourself cooking party where everyone got to prepare their own pizzas using a variety of Stonefire flatbreads, pizza crusts, spreads, and toppings.. We do this on a much smaller scale for family pizza night too. Studies show that kids will eat more vegetables when they help prepare their own food – this is so true in our house!!
We offered a variety of toppings, spreads, and crusts for all to enjoy.
For the crusts, people could choose between the following:
- Original Naan
- Whole Grain Naan
- Garlic Naan
- Sweet Chili Naan
- Thin Pizza Crusts with Sauce
For many, it was the first time they had heard of Stonefire products and many had never tried Naan before. They were all so surprised at how delicious Stonefire flatbreads and pizza crusts were. Absolutely everyone, including the kids liked it!
The Stonefire pizza crusts come with its own sauce which makes pizza making a breeze. The crusts are hand-stretched and baked on stones like they do in Italy. It is a delicious crust that retails for about $3.99. It makes dinner or entertaining easy. Just bake for 6-10 minutes, depending on how soft you like your crust.
We had quite the assortment of spreads available during our pizza party including the authentic Italian pizza sauce that came with the Stonefire pizza crust as well as Crave Brothers Mascarpone cheese spread, HeluvaGood! fire roasted vegetable dip and Greek dip, and pesto sauce.
Sweet Chili Chicken Pizza Recipe
One of our favorite combinations was a Sweet Chili Chicken Pizza. We used the Sweet Chili Naan that is amazing alone or as a pizza. We topped with the Crave Brothers Mascarpone cheese, grilled chicken breast strips, fresh chopped tomatoes, green onions, and mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
It was so easy to make and so delicious with just a bit of a spiciness from the sweet chili naan.
More Pizza Using Stonefire
We made a couple traditional pizzas that were crowd pleasers as well including an Italian sausage, green pepper, and olive pizza.
My husband made an amazing Greek pizza with Whole Grain Naan, HeluvaGood! Greek dip, fresh spinach, fresh basil, roasted red pepper, fresh tomatoes, and feta cheese. YUMMY!
We did make a simple pepperoni pizza too for the younger kids – although we sneaked in fresh basil!
We had so many delicious pizzas during our pizza party including the below with banana peppers, olives, tomatoes, bacon, mushrooms, and onions. The beauty of pizza night or parties is that everyone can make their favorites easily. Simply chop up and prepare the ingredients beforehand, then let everyone create their own signature pizza. Believe me, everyone will be happy!
If you haven’t tried Stonefire flatbreads or pizza yet, do yourself a favor and pick it up during your next trip to the grocery store. Your family will love it and making dinner will be a breeze. It is my secret weapon for quick, healthy dinners on weeknights – and one of my family’s favorites!
Enjoying Stonefire products for pizza is just one of the many, many ways to enjoy their flatbreads and pizza. Check out more recipes on their website and my previous Stonefire review.
