Do you find yourself buying the same things over and over again at the grocery store? Then, do you wonder why you seem to always make the same meals over and over? It’s time to switch it up a bit and dabble in Latin cuisine. My family enjoys trying new cuisine from all around the world.
I received product to facilitate this post.
Iberia makes Latin cuisine easy for newbies with their line of packaged foods from staples to foodie products that offer your family authentic taste of the culture. Iberia uses fresh ingredients from the original climates in which the items grow to pack in authentic flavors you’ll love.
Iberia has all the staples you need including olive oil, grains, beans, and rice as well as canned meats, seafood, and fish to get dinner cooking.
Starting with the basics, I prepared Iberia Arroz “Parboiled” long grain rice using a little Iberia 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Parboiled rice is very similar nutritionally to brown rice by the way it is processed by soaking, steaming, and drying.
The result is a rice that is firmer and less sticky than ordinary white rice and is quicker to prepare.
I used the Iberia Olive oil while preparing the chicken as well. I used it while making Lettuce Wraps last week too. It is a great olive oil for sautéing. It is a wonderful first cold press olive oil that would be perfect for a fresh salad dressing as well.
The Iberia Arroz “Parboiled” long grain rice was perfect accompany my Spicy Orange Chicken recipe. It was delicious.
For entertaining this holiday season, check out their stuffed olives. My family devoured the Queen Olives Stuffed with Garlic which were quite possibly the best garlic stuffed olives we’ve ever had!
Even my kids liked them, especially my “olive girl” Elizabeth! She loves olives!
Add something new to your menu this week, check out all the Iberia products!
This was not a paid post. My own opinions were used based on my perceptions and experience. Thank you to Iberia who provided the product for review.
