The joyous holiday season is quickly approaching. I cannot wait! It is the most special family-bonding time of the year. It is the time when we all make time to get together. It is a time when we put past issues in the past and look at all the blessings we have in our lives. It is also a time filled with new and old family traditions, recipes, parties, and fun – fun – fun!
I have the pleasure of joining a group of bloggers this week for the Smucker’s Holiday Traditions event! I cannot wait to report back to you with fantastic recipes and #HolidayTips that will make this holiday season the most memorable for you and your families.
With all the added pressures of the holidays, people can easily get stressed out – especially moms as we have the bulk of added responsibilities. My suggestion is to pick and choose what is most important to your particular family.
Does your family still enjoy the holiday tradition from your great-grandparents or is there a way to make it more modern and appealing to your family? Is there a new tradition that you’d like to start? Elf on the Shelf comes to my mind as a new holiday tradition that families have embraced over the past years and how about the Christmas Web?
Are there family recipes that are traditional that make each holiday extra special? For me, it is home made stuffing at Thanksgiving, cranberry relish at Christmas, and Easter Bread at Easter. Consider adding new and exciting recipes to your holiday entertaining this holiday season too. You can find many holiday recipes on the Smucker’s website.
I can’t wait for my trip to the J.M. Smucker Company headquarters in Orrville, Ohio this week. I’ll be cooking alongside other bloggers and the Smucker’s team to create new holiday meals that I’ll be sure to report back. Plus, they will be sharing great #HolidayTips and traditions that can make all of our holidays memorial this season. Stay tuned!
