I hope you and your family have been enjoying the Summer as much as we have. I just love having my kids at home during the Summer!!
We’ve been spending as much time as possible outside, enjoying the warm, sunny days at the waterpark, playground, parks, and in our backyard.
Lunch and dinner is usually spent outside too!
My kids love eating outside on the back porch so we do it as often as we can.
My husband is the charcoal grilling master (and I love the break from cooking in the kitchen).
We moved the grill to our new concrete patio extension that was created with our driveway last month. It’s so convenient located right outside our kitchen now.
We also enjoy hosting barbeque parties in the Summer, inviting a few friends and family over. Everything taste better and is more fun outside!
And of course, fresh produce from your own garden taste best too. We are still waiting on our tomatoes to ripen but have enjoy peppers and cucumbers so far. My husband made his own compost last year and kept turning it over the winter and spring months. It really nourished the soil and gave our plants a head start. We’ve implemented other organic gardening measures too, so I feel really good about the produce we will soon harvest for our family.
Even our puppy, Roxy enjoys checking on our garden.
