As soon as the season changed, my son started having bloody noses, it’s like clockwork. The dry inside air each winter gives my son tons of trouble. Luckily, I had the Crane Cool Mist Humidifier to put in his room. With just one use, the bloody noses stopped. If I forget to turn the Penguin Humidifier on just one night, his nose is guaranteed to bleed – poor lil’ guy! So, we keep the humidifier on every night.
Like I said, we have used many different humidifiers in the past 7 years. If you are looking for a quiet humidifier, this is for you. It is the most quiet one we have tried, it is barely noticeable, so it won’t disrupt sleep. Another benefit to the Crane Cool Mist Humidifier is that it uses very little water. The 1-gallon tank will provide at least 11 hours of moisture and if it runs out, it automatically shuts itself off. I have used other humidifiers that would run out of water in just one night! You can adjust the amount of moisture you want with the adjustable dial.
The removable 1 gallon tank is easy to fill and clean too. I can fit it in my kids sink. Be sure to clean out humidifiers often to prevent bacteria and mold. This is not as bad with a cool mist humidifiers vs warm air humidifier, but still important.
