Our Experience at The Gingerbread House of Medina
I’ve driven by The Gingerbread House of Medina many times on the way to my in-law’s house. They always have fun toys on the porch and seasonally displayed outfits in the windows. My in-laws bought our kids a motorized jeep there several years ago and my kids still ride on it! I’ve always meant to stop by.
When I walked through the doors of The Gingerbread House of Medina, I wasn’t sure if the items in the front were brand new or now. It’s so beautifully displayed, like a boutique. I actually had to check the tags to see if the stuff was new. They have high standards on what they accept. The Gingerbread House of Medina only accepts clean, current, name-brand, undamaged, floor-ready clothes.

I really like that they have clothes up to a size 18 at The Gingerbread House for kids. This is not usual for resale and consignment shops, making The Gingerbread House a one-stop shopping destination for clothing for newborns through teenagers, plus ladies’ clothing. If you have hesitated about shopping “second-hand” stores, resale, or consignment stores, you’ve gotta try The Gingerbread House. I, too have not gone to many before recently. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I will go back to The Gingerbread House, I was impressed by the selection, organization, quality, cleanliness, and prices there.
Consignment / Resale Clothes for Girls in Medina
My 4 year old girl loved modeling clothes and hats from The GingerBread House! They have a lot of selection for this age in super-cute styles and great name brands like Gap, Children’s Place, Gymboree, Old Navy, and more.

They offer an assortment of new Hats for $3.50, Giant Bows for hair or hats for $3.50, and other accessories to dress up any outfit. I can’t believe that for around $12, I could get my daughter super-cute, name-brand clothes that were like new. Why pay retail?
Consignment / Resale Clothes for Boys in Medina
I gave my son a break from shopping and getting his picture taken this time and brought my 9 year old and 12 year old nephews. We had a sleepover the night before and stopped by The Gingerbread House before driving to Wadsworth. This is a close drive for those living in Wadsworth looking for a consignment store. I’ve never taken 4 kids to a clothing store before, luckily they had plenty of toys and books to keep them occupied and they were all well-behaved!
My 9 year old nephew is easy to please when it comes to most anything, including clothes. He liked all the clothes and there no reason why, he looked adorable in them all!

So, the average price for a complete outfit for boys seems to be around $13 at The Gingerbread House for boys, this is fantastic for name brand clothes that look new!
Consignment / Resale Clothes for Teenagers in Medina
I wasn’t sure how my 12 year old nephew would be taking shopping for clothes. In fact, I’ve never done this before! Kids at this age know the brands they like and don’t like and The Gingerbread House had them all!
