I am fond of matching furniture, it keeps my world in order. I very much like American Standard’s Generations Collection of bathroom furniture. There are 4 pieces of furniture in this collection to furnish any size bathroom you might have. Choose from the Generations 30″ Vanity, Generations Demi Apothecary, Generations Washstand, and Generations Mirror. What an elegant, traditional collection that really could fit any home.

Generations Mirror

We have already installed the Generations Vanity in our kids’ new bathroom. Now, we have just installed the coordinating Generations Mirror. By installed, I mean hung. This is the one aspect of our bathroom remodel that was done in just minutes. We found the stud in the wall and mounted the mirror.

We purposely hung the mirror low so that it would be close to the counter height since it is for a kid’s bathroom. With the slide-out step on the vanity, our kids can easily see themselves in the mirror. Have you noticed how many mirrors are not accessible to kids? And who enjoys looking at themselves more in the mirror than kids? After hanging it lower, I have found that it is also reflecting the attractive Moments faucet which is just bonus!

The American Standard Generations Mirror is substantial, not a light, cheap mirror. It has a solid frame that is embellished with crown molding as well as molding on the bottom. This is a stunning mirror. It matches with the Generations Vanity in style and presence. All, of course in the same Chocolate color.

Like all mirrors, this mirror brightens up the room and makes it feel larger. It is very welcoming as you enter our kids’ bathroom.

We have downward pointed lights above the mirror, I like how it highlights the mirror as well as how functional the lights are above the mirror. I have to admit that the sconces on either side of the mirrors in the photo on top of this post add a very classy touch as well. This just shows how the Generations Collection can easily find a home in various style of homes. How you decorate a bathroom reflects your personalty, even with traditional furniture that will stand the test of time. .

You are right, decorations do describe your personality. This looks beautiful-just as I bet you and your family are 🙂

I’m torn between the ‘medicine- chest’ style mirror and regualr flat mirrors. The one offers more storage but the second is so stylish and modern.

Their furniture is beautiful and elegant looking. I will have to remember this name when I go to remodel my bathroom.
