Places To Stay & Things To Do In Coshocton, Ohio

My sisters-in-law and I just got back from a girls trip to Coshocton, Ohio! We had so much fun and experienced so many unique places! Before this trip, I had never been to Coshocton but now I am convinced that it is a hidden gem!

I am going to share some of the things we did while in Coshocton and some places that you can stay if you are looking to book a trip!

Pedicures Are A Must On A Girls Trip!

One thing that we knew we wanted to do, while on our girls trip, was get pedicures. It’s something that we don’t always take time to do on a regular basis and it’s fun to do together!

This is a sponsored post.

We went to Nail City on Main Street and had a great experience! Ryan Fortune is the owner and he is really passionate about making the salon a great place to get your manicures & pedicures!

We made an appointment so that we could all sit together in order to be able to chat during our pedicures. The salon is a great size. The waiting area is roomy and has a comfy couch as well as some chairs!

There are toys and video games for the kids to play with so they aren’t bored while they wait for you! Great idea!

The front part of the salon is for manicures.

If you walk through that area and turn left, that is the spacious room where the pedicure chairs are located!

Everyone here was friendly and they did a great job on our pedicures! If you live in the area, or are looking for some self care while you are visiting Coshocton, I would recommend checking out Nail City!

Places to Stay In Coshocton, Ohio

There are many places to stay overnight in Coshocton but I wanted to highlight a few of the ones that we got to see.

We stayed at the Coshocton Village Inn & Suites and it was really nice! I wrote a full review about that and you can view it here.

Medbery Manor Bed & Breakfast

This bed & breakfast is gorgeous and it is owned by Bill & Sharon Schoener, who are two of the most gracious hosts you will ever meet. We stopped by for a visit and a tour of the place and we had the best time!

The location got it’s name and was built by Roscoe Village merchant, Arnold Medbery. It is one block from Roscoe Village (we walked there from the village).

There are 2 rooms (the blue room & the green room) and each of them have in-suite private baths. The rooms are great sizes and both have a flat screen TV in them.

The decor inside is beautiful shabby-chic. Most of the house is newly updated and is well-cared for by Bill & Sharon! Their cats are nice and will greet you but if you do not like cats or are allergic, they will lock them up. The cats are never allowed in the guest rooms!

A complimentary full breakfast is included in your stay. This is home cooked every morning by Bill & Sharon. They told us that they make a variety of things including blueberry chocolate pancakes, homemade french toast, and crust-less quiche. Fun fact: they have many different colors of glass plates and cups and rotate through to add something extra to the breakfast table setting!

There is a beautiful backyard where you can have your morning coffee or relax in the evening! You can find out even more about this bed & breakfast and book your stay on their website here!

Roscoe Motor Inn

We also got to meet the owner of the Roscoe Motor Inn, Del Smith. He is very passionate about making the Roscoe Motor Inn a great place to stay! He has been in the lodging business for a long time and wants to make sure everyone has an enjoyable stay.

There are 15 rooms total. There are 5 connecting rooms on each floor but they are separated by 2 doors so they can also be separate if you wish. The connecting rooms are convenient for large families or groups that are traveling together!

The deck is a great place to sit in the evenings. There are even lights in the trees! Del mentioned that you can find him many nights on the deck grilling for the guests. Just bring a side and you have dinner! There is also a playground there for the kids.

The Roscoe Motor Inn is also pet-friendly! If you are looking to book a stay, check out their website!

Other Things To Do In Coshocton

A great bakery is Hannah Marie’s Bakery. Delicious lattes and pastries!

For lunch, we went to English Ivy which was really good! The food was great and the pies were even better!

There is also an Antique & Unique Shopping Trail that you can do. These stores have all kinds of great shops with antique, unique, & shabby-chic decor. If you only choose one to stop at, go to RUST. It is a beautiful store!

It rained off and on for the time that we were there so we didn’t get a chance to go on the canal boat. However, that is a something I would love to go back to experience. It is a horse-drawn canal boat ride. How cool is that! Definitely something you should check out if you are taking a trip to Coshocton!

Did you know that Coshocton is not far from Amish Country? I didn’t realize that until we were there. So, that is something you could do while on your vacation to Coshocton as well.

There are many, many other things to do in Coshocton, Ohio. Whether you are looking for a family trip, a romantic get-away, or a girls trip, I would highly recommend Coshocton as a travel spot this Summer!!
