Take Your Family to Embassy Suites This Summer

This Fourth of July our family had the pleasure of staying at the Embassy Suites near the Columbus Airport. We looked forward to our weekend getaway as it was the last few days before my husband had to return to work from vacation. Grace and Claire loved the adventure of not knowing what to expect, having never stayed at an Embassy Suites before. Once they saw the pool and the elevators they exclaimed, “This is the best hotel ever!” Our check-in was simple and quick with friendly staff who were very accommodating.

Embassy Suites is Fun For All Ages

Sometimes looking for the perfect hotel for your family getaway can be frustrating. Embassy Suites makes everyone comfortable and has some great perks for everyone in the family. We didn’t plan on doing much during our weekend in Columbus, so being sure that our hotel had plenty to do and was comfortable for our whole family was really important to us. Our suite was modern, with a simple design that this mom loved!

Our suite was comprised of a wet bar with a pull out dining room sized table, which effortlessly flowed into a comfortable living room area complete with a 42 inch flatscreen tv. I loved that our bedroom with 2 double beds was separate from the living area, this way when it was time for our girls to go to bed, my husband and I could enjoy ourselves in the living area. Our bathroom was spacious with all the modern amenities you would expect.

In the evening we would head downstairs where we enjoyed drinks and snacks that are complimentary with your room. The weather was so beautiful we chose to sit outside. The girls loved watching the airplanes landing at the airport, they had never seen a plane up close like this before. Every morning we enjoyed an awesome complimentary breakfast buffet or have an omelet cooked to order.

Take to the Pool For Family Fun at Embassy Suites

My daughters have been loving any time they can get in the water, and when they saw the pool at Embassy Suites, they wanted to jump right in with their swim vests! They loved swimming in the evenings  before bed.

Being that it was the 4th of July weekend, I was sad to find that Columbus had their fireworks show on the 3rd and that this year we would miss out on a fireworks show. Boy was I wrong! Our room was on the top floor of our hotel and had a great nighttime view, while looking out the windows we discovered that we could see 7 different shows along with watching the planes land at the airport. It was awesome!

Our stay at Embassy Suites was one that my family will remember and talk about for a long time. Not only did we have an amazing hotel to enjoy, but we made a lot of memories, watching fireworks, swimming, and even a new tradition, our elevator dance! What memories will you and your family make this summer at Embassy Suites?
