Spring is in the air – at least it will be soon! I was fortunate enough to travel to LA last month and enjoyed 80 degree days while it was below 0 in Ohio! It was so refreshing to feel the sunlight on my skin, I wanted to stay outside the entire time. It was also fun to wear new clothing from the Spring line at Kohl’s.
I was in LA for a blogger trip to Disney Animation Studios where I was able to see how the Disney FROZEN movie was created behind the scenes. It was a business casual affair, so I choose a couple shirts that were feminine and classic during the day and a casual top for sight seeing.
I received product to facilitate this post.
Shortly after arriving in LA, a few of us wen to the CityWalk for dinner and shopping. My Simply Vera top from Kohl’s was super comfy and just perfect for the Spring like weather. I wore it under a sweater on the trip to LA and promptly packed my sweater away once we landed in LA!
On the day that I was the voice of Olaf, I wore a pretty purple lace shirt from Simply Vera. It was comfortable and looked nice under my blazer that I wore in the cooler AC rooms. I loved the color and the feminine touches of woven lace. It packed well in my suitcase and barely needed touched up with an iron.
On the day that we visited the Disney Archives, I wore a sheer, floral black top with a cami underneath with brown dress pants. It was a lovely shirt from Simply Vera that can be dressed up with a skirt or worn casual with jeans. It packed really well on the trip and didn’t even need ironed.
We went back to CityWalk for dinner. I paired the top with comfortable jeans for the evening – and traveling back to Ohio that night. It breathed well, even in direct sunlight at 80 degrees too.
I was excited to check out Kohl’s new Spring line of clothing! I seem to always try to buy new clothes when going on a trip. My clothes from last Summer seemed old and drab. I will be covering more of Kohl’s Spring and Summer clothing line this season. I just posted about Pink being the color to wear in Spring. Stay tuned for more!
