Looking for a wholesome chapter book for your young girl? The Desperate Diva Diaries is a girls chapter book full of fun, faith, and fashion disasters your girl will enjoy.
I introduced you all to this series as a great replacement to the popular, yet self-degrading Dork Diaries series. Girls need positive role models – even in books – not girls that are popularity-obsessed, materialistic, and self-absorbed girl like in Dork Diaries.
Now, The Desperate Diva Diaries is back with a second in their series called How to Become the Most UNPopular Girl in Middle School.
I received product to facilitate this post.
Follow Catie Conrad’s journey through the trials of middle school, including all the drama with friends, family, and unkind kids at school in How to Become the Most UNPopular Girl in Middle School. Catie isn’t perfect but she tries to keep life in perspective with her faith in God. I like that Catie’s character is very real and believable. She goes through everything our girls are or will be going through complete with failures, rejections, and tween/teen drama. As real as she is, she gets incredible strength in her relationship in God. I love that!
How to Become the Most UNPopular Girl in Middle School is based on this Bible verse:
Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
This is a message perfect for kids and tweens as they approach their teens years – as well as for us adults as well.
Plus, it is fun to read as it reads like a diary, not a boring chapter books. There are doodles to keep young readers entertained and into the book as well.
If you are looking for a fun book for your daughter that is wholesome, check out The Desperate Diva Diaries. It’s a great chapter book series for 3rd – 7th grade girls.
