4 Cedar Point Tickets!

picture of Cedar Point Rides

There is still plenty of time this year to enjoy the thrill that can only be found at Cedar Point, the Roller Coaster Capital of the World. Cedar Point holds this title because it has the most roller coasters in the world! Plus, they have more rides than any other amusement park.

If you are like me, you can start to feel the adrenaline start to rush as soon as you see Lake Erie, you know Cedar Point is just moments away. There are so many choices once you walk through the gates. Do you head straight for the newest, most popular rides or ride each ride as you walk the park?! We can never resist and walk past perfectly good rides to save for later! We work our way from the front to the back!

I wrote an article earlier this summer Is Cedar Point a Good Place for Young Kids and Families? Check it out if you have asked yourself this same question. Here is a hint – YES! My 3 and 5 year olds never stopped smiling and laughing the entire time we were at Cedar Point! There were plenty of rides for them to ride and parents can ride with them on many.

Cedar Point is fun for teens and adults too with 17 amazing, record-breaking roller coasters and more than 75 amusement park rides. I actually prefer going to Cedar Point after the heat of Summer, just dress in layers as the weather can change quickly on the lake!

Afraid of losing your child at HUGE amusement park? Cedar Point has a KidTrack system! You write your cell phone number on the child’s wristband and IF they wander away, whoever finds them will call you directly on your cell phone!

  2. Kellie Conklin says:

I learned that during Hallo-weekends, admission to everything is included with your normal park admission! This is a huge plus in my mind as usually it is another fee for the haunted extras! Awesome giveaway, thanks!

  3. Roberta says:

I learned that the park is rated best park overall and that Millenium Force revied its sixth best coaster award this year. AND there are discounts for platinum and season ticket holders as of now. Totally excited. Buzzed up and facebooked! 😀

  4. Ashley Oshell says:

I learned that millenium Force is the number one steel roller coaster in the world. I thought that after all these years, it wouldve been bumped out of the number one spot, hmm who knew. Go Cedar Point, love ya.

  5. Jenn Farris says:

I love Akron Ohio moms because I am a military wife with a mobilized husband who serves in the US army reserves. I go here to get ideas to keep myself and our kids busy. We haven’t been to Cedar point this year and would love to go, while I visited the web site I learned : Millennium Force reclaims the title as the number one steel roller coaster in the world! The park’s star attraction has won the top spot six times since the ride opened in 2000.

  6. Lauren Clapsaddle says:

I learned that Cedar Point has more than just big roller coasters , it is fun for the whole family. As well as halloweekends , they warn you where the ” scare sones are ” and have children friendly activites . It sounds like a great park !!

  7. Samantha A says:

I learned that in the summer of 1870, local businessperson Louis Zistel opened a small beer garden, bathhouse and dance floor on the peninsula.

  8. Katie Klaus says:

Cedar point is open September through October from
    6-midnight on Fridays
    noon-midnight on Saturdays
noon-9 on Sundays (with the exception of October 10, which is 10am-10pm)

For those of you with a family and need to stay safe; The midway of the park is not scary, all “scary” parts of the park are clearly marked.

For those that want a bit of a scare; all scary exhibits are included in the admission.

  9. tyler says:

i love cedar point….i knew that they had a lot of rides but i didnt know they had as many as they do (more than 75).

  10. Tracy R says:

The history of thrill rides at Cedar Point began in 1892 with the introduction of the peninsula’s first roller coaster, the Switchback Railway. The addition of the 25-foot-tall, 10-mph scream machine would forever shape the future of Cedar Point.

  11. Heather says:

I learned that they “shattered world records when it debuted the 420-foot-tall, 120-mph Top Thrill Dragster “strata-coaster” this summer.”

  12. Megan Thompson says:

My husband and I love Cedar Point and can’t wait to go as a family! I was surprised to see how kid friendly it was!

  13. James R. Torakeo says:

Went there a couple of times before, and always love this park. It combines the retro rides with the most modern perfectly. The shows are next to the best without having to drive a thousand miles south to Disneyworld.

  14. Laura says:

The Cedar Point website says they’ll be closed this Friday and Saturday for a private event. Boy, hope people see the notice and don’t just show up expecting to get in. That would be a terrible bummer!

  15. casey says:

I learned that this year, as one of their shows, they are featuring Rock Band Live. That would be neat to see!

  16. Rhonda Heyden says:

Ilearned that Cedar Point has the most roller Coasters in the world. I knew that they had some world records, but I didn’t know that they had the most in the world!

  17. Amy Brewer says:

I learned that they have a bunch of live shows. I have lived in Ohio all my life and have never been to Cedar Point. I didn’t know they even had live shows there.

  18. Alycia says:

I was surprised to find out that “Pregnant women may ride: C.P. & L.E. Railroad, Giant Wheel, Kiddy Kingdom Carrousel, Midway Carrousel, Paddlewheel Excursions, Sky Ride and Space Spiral.” Now I know.

  19. Elsie says:

The history of the area is exciting…Cedar Point is the second oldest amusement park in North America, dating back to 1870!

How awesome and beautiful and romantic it was, with a dancehall and boat rides, and eventually a small roller coaster!

We sure would love to experience the park!

  20. marci says:

i learned that the coaster called The Blue Streak, one of the park’s traditional wood coasters, has been providing ups and downs to guests since 1964 🙂

  21. Chelsea says:

I learned they are opening a new ride next year called the wind seeker. It looks great! Over 300 feet tall! We love Cedar Point but havnt been able to afford it this year. Winning this would give us a great family vacation this year! Thank you for the giveaway.

  22. connie black says:

I learned about something they have that is called “parent swap” which will allow one parent to ride and then the other parent jump on the ride right after so that their is always a parent with the child/ren! Great idea for those of us who have children that don’t like to ride all the rides. 🙂

  23. Jill S says:

I have liked you and Cedar Point on Facebook. I also follow both on Twitter. I have commented on the bathtub faucet post on Total House Remodel. I posted on Google Buzz.I joined Google Friends and voted for you on Top Baby Blogs.

  24. Jill S says:

I learned about Parent Swap. One parent waits in line. Once he/she has ridden, they give their Parent Swap pass to a ride operator. Then, the other parent can use the exit to walk right up to the platform and ride. We may try this out—if we win the tickets!!
