I have been using my Amana Tall Tub Dishwasher for 5 months now and thought I would give you an update. The one key feature that I have found that makes this dishwasher so good is the size of the top rack.
Last night I did some serious cooking and baking. Boy did I have a lot of pots, pans, cutting boards, let alone dinner dishes! I was so excited and proud that I was able to get everything to fit into my Amana Tall Tub Dishwasher that I had to snap a couple pictures to share with you.
As you can see, the Bottom Rack of the Amana Tall Tub Dishwasher is full with 4 large dinner plates, a large round Cutting Board, large pot, 2 large skillets, and one silverware basket (I didn’t need 2, so I only used 1).
The bottom rack was full but what makes the Amana Tall Tub Dishwasher rock is the Top Rack! Check out what I had in the top rack!
I told you that I did a lot of cooking and baking last night! On the Top Rack of the Amana Tall Tub Dishwasher, I had another very large skillet, a large KitchenAid mixer bowl, a medium size pot, pot lid, and glasses from dinner.
The one thing I use to really dislike about cooking large meals and desserts was that I would have so many dishes leftover to hand-wash once my dishwasher was full. What I have grown to really love about the Amana Tall Tub Dishwasher is the extra space on the top rack. Essentially, I have the space of two bottom racks in my dishwasher. I can wash a lot more larger dishes in this dishwasher than previous brands that I’ve used. For that reason alone, I recommend this dishwasher.
Plus, all my dishes come out sparkling clean every time because of the Clean Plate Technology, which is a good thing because I never pre-wash or rinse my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher.
After using the Amana Tall Tub Dishwasher every day for 5 months (that’s 150+ times!), I am still just as satisfied or more with this selection!
